Team Pivot Weekly Update

Some news from the Dainese-sponsored UCI MTB team.

This week end was a Muddy one for the Quebec cup in Mont Saint Anne for Hans Lambert, with a muddy course from top to bottom Hans was able to stay on the track and have a great time ridding his Pivot and finished in 3rd place behind Neko Mulaley (usa-Trek World racing) and in first place was pro skier Chris Delbosco. Hans had 2 full days of muddy  practice and the course got faster and faster as the day had gone  with the sunshine.

For Kyle Strait he has decided to Pack all of his things and head off to Highland Mountain bike park in New Hampshire  to coach young athletes for the week and practice for the upcoming claymore challenge next week end. This is the start of a long trip for Kyle he will not return home before the august.

At the moment I am with Will Rischbieth and we are in Geneva and just arrived from Leogang and he is recuperating from his hands injury’s  and keeping his training up and positive mind set to be 100% for Mount Saint Anne and I am attempting to fix our Europe truck that we have been having  transmission  trouble with by lately(what a new challenge).

Thank You for all your support

Dainese USA MTB riders hit Nevada State DH Championship 2011

Here's a great little video of the Nevada State DH Championship 2011 shot at Bootleg Canyon a couple weekend ago. Dainese USA's "privateer" team members Erik Nelson, Cris Ries and Washington State's Bob Stenson made the trip to Nevada as part of their 2011 race program and preparation for the 2011 Pro GRT tour.

Check Bob sporting his Dainese Roar Evo pants at 40 sec into the movie.

Dainese MTB returns at Interbike 2009

We are back with a completely new MTB collection, including lots of gravity protective apparel, new XC and Freeride as well as an intro to road cycling.
With such a line (distributed in the US by BTI), look for a stronger Dainese involvement in MTB racing, DH and more.

Dainese visited the Sea Otter Classic 2009

In partnership with BTI (www.bti-usa.com), their cycling line U.S. distributor, Dainese's crew attended the great mountain-bike event at Laguna Seca/Monterey last weekend.

For 2009 Dainese is reinforcing and re-focusing it's presence in the MTB industry in the U.S. and hope that its name will be synonim to performance and protection in gravity once again. Building on a strong history that saw Dainese reach the top of World mountain-biking competition in the '90's with riders like Nicolas Vouilloz and Anne-Caroline Chausson, the brand has strategically partnered with BTI in order to strengthen its presence in the gravity segment.
