Despite a difficult Race 1, the Australian round of the World Superbike was a positive one for Dainese's Max Biaggi and his new Aprilia RSV4.Max raced at the front in Race 2, fighting in the Top 3 with Ben Spies and Haga for most of the race. A small mistake in the last lap and Max left the track and got himself relegated to 15th.
